Ann Ward: Anything Is Possible

Cycle 15 of America's Next Top Model might have ended in the US but some of us down south are still enjoying the show. I'm not really a big fan of the show but I'm definitely gaga for Ann Ward.

Who would have thought that this young, awkward looking girl would turn out to be a Diamond?! AMAZING!! Bieng 6 ft 2, this girl has been bullied and rejected most of her adoloscent life because of her height and awkwardness! Well, eat your heart out bullies because this girl is absolutely beautiful!!!

Big Ups to Ann for standing up to all the people that looked down on her and for showing the world that anything is possible.

Hair: Let's Whip it Back and Forth

Alright, its a new season and its time for change!! For Starters, in winter most of us were rocking weaves and extentions trying to keep our heads warm from the harsh cold. Winter is long gone and I feel like trying out something different with my hari! Something short, simple, chic and cute. Something manageable but then again i'm always open to anything crazy and eccentric, lol! So check it out:

How about a buzz cut with a touch of colour?! I'm thinking Red Wine or Plum...I'm totally feeling this!

A pixie is never to much to handle...and its always sassy

Ah, yes! The mohawk...creativity meets personality!! What i love about it it is you could have a braided mohaw (for people like me who can't bear the thought of cutting their hair *Yikes!*) or one with highlights...either way, its Rockable!!

Or maybe I should just shave it on one side...*nodding* I like this!

Color has to be a part of this new hair do. The whole African colored hair is getting overated for me! A new style must be accompanied with flavor...and these days, i'm totally feeling Plum! Maybe i should go for it...

Why try to fit in, when you were born to stand out?!

Stop Trying to be or to do the same as others...it's boring and overated!! Originality on the other hand, is a trend that will never fade! you should try it...be Unique!



impossible is the state of mind...don't live up to anyone's expectations but yours. If they say you can't do it, say to them "watch me do it"!

Do not be ashamed of your background: Skin colour, Hair texture, ethnicity, language, country or Family. Its a part of who you are...its Unique and Original!

Its Official: Its Spring Day!!!

I don't exactly know about other parts of the world but here in Africa, particularly Southern Africa, Winter is gone and so are those puffed up jackets, scarves and ear muffs!! Today is the 1st of september, the unofficial official day to mark the beginning of spring! So, instead of a pinch and a punch for the first day of the month, how about you get a bucket of water/ hose pipe and just pour/sprinkle somebody with it as you welcome them into the new season in style!!

Time to get wet and wild, people!!!

Tis the season to be Jolly...

Only a few days left till the end of August, but most exciting, till the end of Winter!!! Yes, people...spring is jetsetting to our side and we best prepare for it in style (If you know what i mean)! In Spring, less is more and its time to clean out that closet off them winter knits and prepare to pack it with those awesome shorts and kraftan tops!!

How about we trade in those bright alerting colours and stockings...



For something short, chic and floral..

Or stack away those snuggly uggs and boots we got...

And bring out those sassy sandles and killer wedge

And let's bid Adieu to those Real/Faux fur coats and jackets...



And say bonjour to vests, funky tops and all things awesome...

Don't forget to ditch those beanies and scarves for sun glasses and killer accessories!! Make a statement as you step into the floral season this year....just make sure you don't get poured with a bucket of water!!!

My equation of Life

Life is beautiful but it's also a b*tch (excuse my french)! If we take it too seriously, we loose out on the fun of it and if we take to lightly, well, we loose out on the seriousness of it!! That's just how crazy everything works around here...but lately i've discovered this awesome equation, very simple actually and i'm sure you'll get it too!!
